Aalam Salon

Met with the gentlemen from Aalam Salon last night to discuss shooting their collection. I really enjoyed meeting with them and I hope to begin a long relationship with them! Their website and the look and feel of their site, as well as the stylist I met with seem to have a great and positive energy! Definitely a group of people I want to work with!

Faith M.

Yesterday, I did a test with Faith. Faith is a beautiful girl with the prettiest eyes and blonde hair. She, at 15 years old, already stands 5'11"! Very smart and just pleasant to work with. Her parents were at the shoot and are very fine people. It was really great to meet and work with them. Faith is definitely on her way. She has really good movement, temperament, and takes direction really well. I look forward to watching this young lady grow as a model.

Lesson learned!

Tonight as I was editing photos, I learned a huge lesson as far as being a fashion photographer running a photo set. If you don't want to spend countless hours editing images, don't shoot images that will require countless hours of editing! Duh! Right! I also learned that the wardrobe stylist needs to be on set with the photographer and not helping models get dressed. The eyes watching the wardrobe as it is being shot should be the eyes of the wardrobe stylist! Duh! Right! Just finished another round of editing! Until next time...

Height Goddess and Treasure Rock

Today was a marathon of editing images for both companies!

Height Goddess images were re-edited for the product images that are used on overstock.com's website. I still have a lot of additional images to be edited for the company's own website. That is at least a week of work.

Treasure Rock's images were edited and finished tonight. I don't think they are expecting the images so soon. I happen to be in a unique situation where I could do them on the same day they made their selection of images. I believe they will be very happy as they need those images for use in this week's Market in New York.

I am becoming quite the image editor! I will however start budgeting for an image editor as it is very time consuming. I could be shooting instead of editing! Well until next time,
